Diane Gold, Founder, Warriors Of Weight & Personal Development Expert, Radio Show Host for At Peace With Diane Gold

Diane GoldDiane Gold is the proud Founder of Warriors Of Weight, the only website and inbox magazine devoted to changing a habit by taking 1 step. Her work here includes creating tools, instructional videos, consulting packages, mind-sound mp3s and information through her writing and speaking so that anyone who wants to change a habit can choose from a variety of straight forward single-step techniques.

Along with this, Diane is the CEO of The Kung Fu Conservatory, a Chinese martial arts and personal development institute for children, adults and professions. She believes the purpose of the training is to elevate and adjust the mind, even though much of the training is physical. She is known for her ability to create programs that enhance  individual focus and determination. These programs build lasting understanding that changes each trainee’s perspective, fitness, power and stress levels. She has been training people in martial arts and personal development for over 25 years.

Diane created  Corporate Tai Chi. It comes in two formats. The first is a 5-minute training method  using tai chi and chi kung for daily stress relief with groups (corporate means pertaining to a unified group). The second is a one hour dance session that uses tai chi and free dance with electronic music. When it is used in the group setting, it builds the culture of the group and brings balance to academic settings, organizations, business entities, empowerment groups.

Diane’s 25 years’ experience as a music educator (B.S., New York University) and music therapist (M.A. in Music Therapy, also from NYU) has led her to work with a large variety of people with mental and physical circumstances as well as those without labels.

Her signature philosophy, when working with anyone, can be described as taking the client one step higher than s/he was the moment, the month, the decade before. Diane does not look at baselines that the client did not produce. She feels this is the biggest driver of her success in encouraging people to improve, advance, motivate and inspire themselves on a long-term basis. Essentially, “if I have taken 1 step today, I am doing well,” according to Diane. “My focus belongs on the task at hand, that 1 step, as if the next step is the only step.”

A grateful mom of Jaden and Janna, she currently lives in South Florida and is known around the community as the annual World Tai Chi Day organizer and the kung fu and tai chi teacher from the beach. She is working up to a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate and incorporating The Peace Process Formula into the school system. She broadcasts At Peace With Diane Gold, on online radio, Tuesdays at 2:00 pm, Eastern Time here.

Elisa Rodriguez, Registered Dietician & Licensed Dietary Nutritionist

Elisa RodriguezElisa Rodriguez is the Registered Dietitian (RD) and a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN). She got her degree at University of Delaware, interned at Geisinger Medical Center, worked at two different hospitals and then started her own consulting business. Through her research and experience, she has learned that eating a whole food, plant-based diet, while significantly decreasing  processed ingredients and animal products, can have a huge impact on our health. Her lifestyle is about consuming generous amounts of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, nuts, seeds, beans and legumes in many different varieties. She believes in plant-strong eating, because she has experienced its healing effects while learning to enjoy the taste of pure food.

When diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosis, Elisa tried conventional medicine, which failed.  When she had to resign from work, she studied the plant based diet’s role on disease. This research led her to drastically improve her health and her understanding of nutrition.
She has gained valuable insight as a health care provider. Instead of relying on medicines with side effects, she used nutrition to take control of her health. In the process, she discovered that plants are the natural, sustainable fuel intended for our bodies.

Richard Oppenlander, DDS, Researcher, Author And Expert in Global Depletion

Richard OppenlanderRichard Oppenlander’s main objective within both his writing and speaking is to raise the level of awareness and accuracy of information as it pertains to the critical topic of a plant-based diet being the best and most sustainable option for our bodies, the animals, and the earth. Food choice is rarely positioned within the sustainability conversation, and often negligibly or wrongfully discussed in information regarding our health. Dr. Oppenlander writes, consults, and lectures for the purpose of repositioning food choice as the most significant component within the campaign for a more sustainable and healthy planet, and for those who inhabit it—contending that without complete and swift replacement of all animals and animal products with plant based alternatives, we will likely not reach a point of sustainability. Conversely, with new found global awareness and immediate adoption of a fully plant based diet and agricultural systems, the highest level of relative sustainability will be achieved and we will flourish as a civilization.

He is the author of Comfortably Unaware and Food Choice And Sustainability.
