JANICE VILLAROSA is a filmmaker who has recently finished the movie, Shunned, about the transgender community in the Philippines. As a citizen of both the United States and the Philippines, she has a unique vision as a citizen of two countries.
Her main objective is to look at others through their eyes. A driving force in her decision to make Shunned was to examine and remove her own conservative prejudice.
